AUSTIN RAY CHALMAN
Austin started racing Quarter Midgets just after he turned 5 years old. He took right to it, qualifying his car on the pole position and lapping the field during the first race of his life. During the Monza series at Southern Colorado he won every race (all the heats and main events). He finished the season as the Southern Colorado Champion.
During his second season, this 6 year old boy took 3rd place at the Summer Nationals, finished 2nd in our three state region, and won the championship at Pikes Peak and at Southern Colorado, making him a 3 time champion before age 7.
Austin is now 7 and we've moved to Utah so he can run Junior One Racing Kart at Miller Motorsports Park. He took 4th place in the Ice Breaker Series, and 5th place in the Utah State Championship 2009.
